THEN YOU CAN ENTER THIS BRAND NEW COMPETITION, HERE'S HOW…
How to enter:
- Format your story as a Word doc, font 12px Times New Roman, double spaced. Add word count.
- Please do not include your name, pen name or identifier on your competition submission.
- Pay £5 competition entry fee using Paypal on the homepage of the Farnham Flash Festival website.
- Forward your PayPal receipt by email to #Y29tcGV0aXRpb25AZmFybmhhbWZsYXNoZmVzdGl2YWwub3JnLnVr# and attach your document.
- Please put: FLASH FICTION SUBMISSION together with the title and author in the subject line.

- Your name and pen name.
- Name of your story.
- Contact details incl. contact phone.

Competition category:
- Age 7—11: (Prize £25)
- Age 12—14: (Prize £25)
- Age 14—18: (Prize £50)
- Over 18: (Prize £100)
Competition Judge:
Joanna Barnard lives and works in Farnham. In 2014, she won the inaugural Bath Novel Award. A Northerner currently exiled in the South of England, Joanna misses flat vowels, friendly bus drivers and chips and gravy.
She is the author of Precocious and Hush Little Baby.
Prizes:
- The winning story in each category will win a cash prize (see above).
- Ten short listed stories will be read aloud at the Farnham Flash festival awards ceremony.
Awards Ceremony: Tuesday June 26th 2018 – venue TBC.
