How to Submit an Issue to NAWG
You may raise an issue about any of the NAWG technologies, such as:
- This website,
- The website for the shop,
- Our email facilities,
- Our use of Zoom for remote meetings and events,
- Distribution of Link or the newsletter,
- Any other technical matter.
To do this, please send an email message to #aXRAbmF3Zy5jby51aw==#,
containing where possible.
- A headline (message subject) that succinctly summarises the issue.
- A detailed description of the issue.
- If it's a problem, the steps you took to reach that problem.
- What you expected to happen.
- What actually happened.
- The impact of the problem.
Types
An issue can be one of the following types.

| Task |
A general piece of work relating to any of the technologies we use.

| Problem |
Something that has gone wrong or isn't working as it should.
|
| Enhancement |
A request for an addition or improvement.
|
Severity
The severity of an issue can be one of the following.

Description |
| Minor |
The issue is not serious, though may be important.
There may be alternative courses of action to mitigate the issue.
|
| Major |
The issue is serious and has a significant impact on the system(s).
There are probably no work-arounds.
|
| Critical |
The issue is essentially a show-stopper
and is preventing people from doing what they want to do.
|
Priority
The priority of an issue can be one of the following.

Description |
| Low |
The issue can be worked on when time allows,
and when issues with a higher priority are not active.
|
| Medium |
The issue can be worked on,
but is not particularly time sensitive.
|
| High |
The issue is very important and must be worked on as soon as possible.
|
| Urgent |
The issue must be worked on immediately and all other
activity must be stopped until it is resolved.
