Self-Edit Your Novel
Together with Emma Darwin, Debi Alper (East Dulwich Writers' Group) runs a 6-week online Self-Edit Your Novel course 4 times a year, on behalf of The Writers' Workshop.
Each week, there is a short video introduction and a detailed tutorial covering structure, plot, pace, character, voice, POV and prose style. The exercises we set are based on participants' own novels and we workshop the homework together in the group. The tutorials give you the tools of creative writing and the exercises show how those tools can be applied to your own writing.
