Festival Information
On the weekend after the August Bank Holiday, like-minded writers with a broad spectrum of abilities, get together for an exceptional weekend, focussed on improving their writing.
The festival provides:
- Opportunities to network with writers, agents & publishers.
- Workshops run by professional tutors, to improve your writing.
- All meals, including our annual Gala Dinner – a highly entertaining evening.
- Awards ceremony for competition prize winners.

Following the success of previous years, this year's festival was once again held at the University of Warwick.

Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony ↑
One of the highlights of the festival, was the Gala Dinner on Saturday evening. You can see some photographs from last year's dinner in Pam's write-up. This was followed by the Awards Ceremony, where the winners of the 2016 NAWG members' competitions were announced.
This year, Professor Gervase Phinn entertained us with an after-dinner talk.
